Owlstar's future 16

The sound of the battle was roared by the cats of the clans, their brothers and their foe, the banish ones, the mountain lions.
"Look out for their claws!" Mousejump warned as the large beast clawed down two Fox Clan cats.
"This is bad.
He took out two warriors without even flinching.
Aim for his neck!" Tallgrass ordered as they struck again.







They manage to bring the beast down, but it was a long way to go to end this war.
"We need to get the injured to the medicine cats." A grey she-cat informed as the managing cats took the injured ones the three medicine cats that stayed to help.
It was Sweetvoice, Barbedtail and her apprentice Cinders, a former kittypet.
The other medicine cats left with the others to help them.









"Bring them here, we'll help them." The small black she-cat ordered as they placed them inside and left to fight again.
"How many injured warriors are there this time?" Barbedtail questioned.
"Fifteen and four are dead before they could reach here in time." The Owl Clan medicine cat reported.
"This is bad.
If the battle does not turn around soon, we'll be slaughtered." Sweetvoice frowned.











"Let's prey Star Clan will save us." The spiky medicine cat meowed as he grabbed the cobwebs.
Meanwhile somewhere else near Mice paradise, Skullstar and his son Owlskull were attacking and defeating the second in command as it fell back dead.
"We....... took him down...... Now we ........ *Huff* ....... Now w-we need...... to find.... the leader..." The pure white tom wheezed as he was running out of breath.
"Are you able to fight?.......
You sound out of breath....." The blind tom breathed covered in sweat.














"We... need to keep fighting..
I don't care if I'm tired.
I'll fight until I have no breath in me." The Owl clan warrior meowed, controlling his breathing.
The black tom nodded and found the sent of the chieftain of the attacking mountain lions.
"I have sent of him, let's go." Skullstar ordered as he lead the way.
Owlskull followed him as he thought of Blueblossom and where she might be.













*I hope she's alive.
I could not bare the thought of these beasts ripping her apart.* The pure white tom thought as he went to the Tree of the Undead.
The tree was a willow that only grew blue and crinkled leaves and gives the sent of corpses.
Most believe that it is the entrance to the afterlife, like his father and himself.
*Why would he go to the Tree of the Undead?











The only thing that grows near there are the dead leaves of the tree, not even the grass grows* The tom wondered in his mind as he stared at his father.
His eyes, although foggy, were also filled with worry and fear, but why?
Dose it have to do with the tree.
When they reached there they saw the mountain lion, bigger than all of the other mountain lions, trying to knock down the tree.
"FLAME OF THE SOUL!
STAY AWAY FROM THAT TREE!!!" The blind tom screeched in pure anger.














The large beast turned to face the two cats and the others that were coming.
The backup were Blueblossom *Thank Star Clan*, Skytears, Copperstar, Dirtpelt and his twin.
"Well if it isn't the blind fool, Skullhead or is it Skullstar?
Tell me, how long has it been since we seen one another?" The chieftain sickeningly smiled as he stopped knocking the tree.
"You know this thing?" Owlskull gasped in surprise.














" Listen up and listen well.
A few seasons ago the clan found a young mountain lion cub that lost it's mother in a storm.
We took him in, I was just a kit at the time.
We became best friends when we were apprentices and warriors.
However, he rejected Star Clan and went to the path of the dark forest after losing his foster mother.













After his betrayal was relieved, he was exiled out of the forest and to return to the tribe of the mountain lions.
We have not heard from each other since." The blind tom explained.
"You Betrayed me!!!
Just like those weak spirits of Star Clan!!!
You could HAVE been my DEPUTY but no!!!!!" Flame of the Soul roared.
